Save from YouTube

Add a video to the board without leaving YouTube. The board must be online (its web address) for this to work; a local file can't be opened from YouTube.

On a computer · bookmarklet

Drag this button to your bookmarks bar. Then, on any YouTube video, click it: the board opens with that video ready to file.

On iPhone / iPad · Share sheet shortcut
  1. Open the Shortcuts app → + new shortcut, name it Add to Video Notes.
  2. Tap the shortcut's info (ⓘ) → turn on Show in Share Sheet, and set it to receive URLs.
  3. Add action Text and paste:
    then append the variable Shortcut Input right after the =.
  4. Add action Open URLs with that Text.
  5. In the YouTube app: Share → More… → Add to Video Notes.
